1.5-liter VC-Turbo 3-Cylinder Engine

Nissan first introduced their variable compression engine system in 2019 with the 2.0-liter VC-Turbo 4-Cylinder engine, which appeared in the 2019 Altima and had a great reception from enthusiasts. Nissan has been working on the VC-Turbo for over 20 years, aiming to design an engine that is fuel-efficient yet powerful and fun to drive. Utilizing a revolutionary multi-link system, the VC-Turbo engine continuously adjusts its compression ratio for optimal power and performance.
